Today is the release of the Xbox 360 version of Takedown Red Sabre. After a few quick plays I can say it is very similar to the current PC build and works well with the controller. I was able to join online games quite easily and had a few rounds of co-op on Biolab and HQ before chucked into a Team Deathmatch on Cargo Ship.
I suffered a fair bit of lag, but this is more to do with my location than anything else. It was nice to see new names popping up in the lobbies and hopefully Takedown will grow from here. Them damn tangos are still as lightning quick though..
Patch #8 and XBLA Release Date

Takedown: Red Sabre now has a Release Date on Xbox 360 and it's February 21st, 2014! now with that out of the way here is what Patch #8 brings.
New Map: The Hold
The hold is a large, interior storage area of a cargo ship. The map itself is extremely large, and features a combination of CQB areas such as stairwells, and long range combat across the vast hold areas. For Tango Hunt, Bomb Disarm, and Attack/Defend, the full map is utilized, and there are a variety of Firefight variants for TDM and LMS.
New Map: Radar Storm
Radar Storm changes the feel and dynamics of Radar Station from bright and clear to stormy and foggy. This changes the dynamic of the long range gameplay, making moving between lit areas of the map more of a strategic decision. This map supports Tango Hunt, Bomb Disarm, and all Versus game modes, and also includes the Radar Station Firefight variants.

Xbox 360 Build passed MS Certification

Xbox 360 Build of Takedown: Red Sabre has passed Microsoft Certification, release date is still unknown at this time! With any luck it won't be far off! XBLA Releases have slowed down since the launch of Xbox One.
The Xbox 360 Build includes all the Updates brought to PC Users, so yes that does include the new maps coming with PC Patch #8 (Radar Storm and The Hold).
Speaking of the PC Version, Patch #8 should bring the ability to make custom maps though it seems the team over at Serellan are still trying to iron out a few bugs related to the map editor.

Serellan has submitted the Xbox 360 version of Takedown to Microsoft, with any luck a release date will be known soon.
"Xbox 360 build has been submitted for final certification with Microsoft! It took us a little longer than we planned to integrate PC DLC, as well as track down some localization, achievement, and messaging bugs, but the build has finally been sent to Microsoft. I will let you know when I get word back from 505 and Microsoft! All of the PC DLC that I announced over the break is included in the base Xbox 360 game."
In other news testing for the next PC Update (#8) has finished, Now we wait to hear what date it will be pushed out to users, In the mean time here is another image of 'The Hold'
