Crime InformationBank robbery in progress with an officer down. At approximately 010 hours armed gunman stormed the Westwood branch of California Security in an apparent attempt to intercept and rob a scheduled armored truck delivery.
Additional InformationThe gunmen entered the bank located in the 1000 block of Westwood Blvd. armed with fully automatic weapons. As the gunmen ordered employees and customers into the employee lounge undercover Los Angeles Police Officer Eric Kronberg entered the bank on personal business. Officer Kronberg observed the gunmen, and fearing for his life and the life of the employees and customers, fired three shots from his service pistol at one of the suspects who then returned fire, striking Officer Kronberg. Officer Kronberg's partner, Robert Drauch, heard the shots fired and called for back up. Patrol vehicles responded and rolled on scene.
Suspect InformationHighground reports three suspects, possibly more. All visible suspects are in full body armor and carrying automatic weapons. Suspects are barricaded inside the bank with the wounded officer and an unknown number of hostages. Suspects have refused all attempts at communication.

Gwen Davis, female, Caucasian, 56 years, DOB 04/04/49, 5'6", 180 pounds, gray hair, blue eyes, glasses.
