Sam Saves The Day - Custom Chat

DarkSynopsis has been playing with Takedown Red Sabre and has discovered how to abuse Microsoft SAM (the ingame text to voice) to give us some simple Team Commands (Voice Only - AI will not to react to this). By modifying your DefaultInput.ini you can assign new hotkeys that can enable SAM to speak.

Here is an example video of it working in game.

If you are using the standard key layout and mouse sensitivity you can simply download our file to replace your version. We however accept no responsibility for any problems you may occur. Remember to backup your original DefaultInput.ini somewhere safe, so you may restore it. if you are not comfortable doing this then please do not.

1. Download File
2. Backup your original DefaultInput.ini file somewhere safe (can be found in extraction directory).
3. Extract to

32 Bit - C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Takedown Red Sabre Early Access\TakedownGame\Config
64 Bit - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Takedown Red Sabre Early Access\TakedownGame\Config

4. Run game.


These are the current KeyBindings for the Custom Chat

Team Leader Orders

Numpad 1 - Stack Up
Numpad 2 - Provide Cover
Numpad 3 - Regroup
Numpad 4 - Move & Clear
Numpad 5 - Bang & Clear
Numpad 6 - Frag & Clear

Officer Responses

Numpad 7 - Copy
Numpad 8 - Tango Down
Numpad 9 - All Clear

N.B. The keys are available for all, so team discipline will be required.

P.S. We imagine that SAM will meet his maker when any patches are released. So use it while you can.
