With the upcoming release of the game Takedown Red Sabre from Serellan being pitched as an old school tactical shooter in the style of Rainbow Six:RavenShield and SWAT 3. We at Tactical Ape are getting pretty excited about the possibilities this game has to offer.

Christan Allen the Creative Director at Serellan has promised support for the modding community in the forms of mod tools at some unspecified date after the release of the main game. He does this having come from a modding background and moving his way up to working on triple AAA titles such as Ghost Recon and Halo Reach.

With that said our intention is to cover all things Takedown, and if any other developers take the plunge into this style of gaming, let you know about their efforts too.
