Another Round of Site Issues

For around the past week give or take the site has been having some serious issues, all our sites got migrated to a new web host due to our previous host being acquired by another company and our content being moved over.
Turns out during the move we ended up on a newer version of PHP which caused no end of problems due to the site using some now deprecated features, it wasn't clear this was the issue at first so I had spent no time re-coding parts of the site, instead trying to get support to look into it, honestly it should have been an easy fix on the hosting end and at times I saw the site working then broke again.
Seemed like the easier solution would just be to dive back into the code and update it for newer standards which is most likely better in the long run! so hopefully the site is all up and running again, if you run into any errors feel free to leave a comment.
